When lifting a vehicle it’s important to keep alignment specs close to factory for proper wear and tear on the tires, but more importantly for proper drooping. SPC upper control arms allow full droop rather than limit such as OEM does.
The SPC Upper Control arm for 1994-2004 Toyota Tacomas and 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runners is a great option for upgrading, whether your stock control arm is failing, or you have lifted your vehicle.
Alignment specs are important to keep near factory, and when not doing so causes uneven wear and tear on tires, ultimately shortening their lifespan. This is a big problem when lifting a vehicle as factory alignment specs are no longer able to be achieved. If running extended shocks the SPC upper control arms can handle the excess droop.
The SPC UCA is also greaseable with the ball joint and bushings. Meaning you can keep them properly lubricated to extend their lifespan compared to OEM and other makers. Because their UCA is made with a ball joint instead of a uniball, you can expect them to outlive many other competitors.
No matter what you throw at these UCA’s, they will be able to handle it. If you have any questions regarding their fitment on your ’95-04 Tacoma, or ’96-02 4Runner please give us a call and we will be happy to help you out.
