FJ40 Leaf Spring Hangers

Hangers for 2.75" or 2.5" leaf springs with 3.0" bushing clearance

These hangers fit Toyota FJ40 applications using 2.75" or 2.5" leaf springs and large (GM-style) bushings. The inner width is 3.0" to clear the bushing sleeves, and each hanger includes a ramp reinforcement for added rigidity. Bolt holes are 9/16" to match common spring hardware and maintain a tight, repeatable pivot.

The spring pin centerline is aligned with the hanger’s leading edge, allowing you to extend the hanger past the frame to gain roughly 1"+ of wheelbase. Hangers can face forward or rearward, and the ramp can serve as a skid where clearance is tight. Verify spring width and bushing width before placement, and set shackle angle and driveshaft clearance prior to final welding or fastening.
